We would like to introduce a case study of the installation of safety covers conducted by Daiken Industrial Co., Ltd. In the medical supplies industry, our customer faced situations where there were risks of operators getting caught, making careless mistakes, or attempting to pass through inappropriately while equipment was in operation. Therefore, we proposed securing the safety of operators by locking the cover with an interlock during operation. As a result, even if someone else attempted to operate the equipment during maintenance, the interlock would activate, preventing the equipment from moving.
